Coaching is one of the greatest professions on the earth.  It is difficult to find an occupation that can have a greater influence on such a tremendously important segment of our society.  With that influence, however come certain obligations and responsibilities, not only to the game itself, but also to its players and fellow professionals. Each year we will relentlessly pursue a baseball championship by instilling and fostering within our athletes the values of over-achievement, hustle, self-discipline, attention to detail, honesty, and respect; by creating and nurturing a positive environment that develops and promotes self-confidence and leadership; by utilizing sound and organized teaching principles and progressions, and by teaching and practicing solid fundamentals with an overwhelming sense of urgency.

Brian Navarro, who will begin his first season on the C-Ball coaching staff, will assist with outfield and infield play and hitting.  Brian brings along a tremendous amount of knowledge, experience, and success on the diamond to the staff.

Brian was a three year starter at Oliver W. Holmes High School where he was an All-District selection each year of his high school career. Brian was named to the Express News All-Area Team his sophomore and senior season. Brian played various positions in the outfield and led his team in homeruns and RBI’s each year. Brian was also selected to play in the Valley Optimist All-Star Baseball Game his senior year.

Brian later attended Texas Lutheran University to play baseball for the Bulldogs. Brian then transferred to UTSA to finish up his education to become a Coach/Teacher.

Brian currently serves as an assistant varsity baseball coach at Oliver W. Holmes High School and coaches all outfielders, pitchers and hitters.  Brian is also a certified personal trainer with International Fitness Professional Association and personal trained athletes at Spectrum Clubs from 2001-2004.  Brian has experience with strength and conditioning, speed/agility and sport specific training.
