CBall Nationals win tournament

The Bourne Star

The 14U CBall Nationals took first at the Austin Select Slugfest in San Marcos on Feb. 16-17. In final game against the Hornets with the bases loaded, Seth Mangiaracina hit a line drive gapper to left center, clearing the bases and bringing Justin Garcia in for the winning run and the 5-4 score. CBall practices at TMI and is coached by Larry “Coach C” Czeszewski and Roy Gonzales.

Pasttime tournament, April 20th-21st  (Super Series)  Majors / AAA

CBall loses a close Semi-Final battle that went 7 innings to SA Angels Blue, 3/2 . One thing interesting note is that Field 9,  center field is tagged at 405 feet, while left a right fields are 389 feet, respectfully. That said, CBall had two hits that would have cleared field 8 by 40-60 feet had they played on field 8 that was used in Championship game. Field 8 measure 325 feet a common field size for 14 u.  Hence, had that been the case CBall  most likely wins 4/3. When and if these two match-ups meet again the stands should be full. Stay posted for future match-ups at baseballsanantonio.com. As you can see below Angles Blue went on to crush SS Titans in Final as they did all teams in tournament besides CBall Nationals.
